We arrange an annual programme of talks and workshops intended to appeal to anyone with an interest in statistics. Talks to our local group are generally applied and relatively non-technical as our usual audience includes non-academic as well as academic statisticians.

All of our events are free, and are open both to members of the RSS and to non-members. We typically organise 5-6 events per year, which are held on a range of evenings and usually either in-person or hybrid. Refreshments are available beforehand, and events are usually followed by a trip to either a pub or a restaurant.
